keep the faith By Kirstenbrianne

At least that's what I try to do. Eventually somebody else new will come to the building and you can be the friendly face that wasn't there for you when you were new. How would you like this one. Team meeting - 3 women| and 1 man sitting at a long table - three women at one end and the man at the other end. one woman brings in a package of homemade cookies and hands them to one of the other women sitting at the table with, "here, I brought you a treat." Not, here guys, try these cookies - they were for one person out of 4!!! (gee, is that because like you said I'm not 5'5" and 100 pounds - guess I don't | | look like I need cookies - which I don't, but it still is hurtful to not be asked). Day after day, same or similar stuff. The seating arrangement has changed. Two women at one end. One woman and one man at the other end. He's not big into girl talk, but at least he's not rude. Of course, that doesn't help the hurtful conversations that are still audible.(ex. "Hey, you know that THING I talked to you about yesterday? oh yea, the thing? yea, well, you know what I said I thought I would do, well, I decided yea, that's definitely what I'm going to do." These are not young, immature, newbies. These are experienced, grown women. I have enough friends outside of school that I'm not devastated by their antics, but it does make me question myself and wonder what I have done to deserve it.
