Chart correlation
By Julie

Clip to ScrapBook
There are so many "leveled" plans out there and it is difficult to correlate them. We have found that at our school, we needed to choose one and stick with it. We chose the F&P one because that is the one most of our staff was most comfortable and educated in identifying the levels - especially since they give such great descriptions in their books. A lot of companies have correlation charts and how they compare to other leveled systems. Many of them compare to F&P as it is "one of the most widely used leveling systems" (Allington). Not sure if that helps, but you may be able to request something of this sort from the company.
