As far as the LA question, maybe research the school on the internet. Then maybe you can find out if they do guided reading, basals, 4-block, etc. If you have used one of those methods of reading in the past, I would talk about what has worked best for you. Maybe say "I have found _____ method to work the best for me in the past." Maybe show a lesson plan in your portfolio from a previous reading lesson that was successful. Hope I helped, but I'm across the country from you, so I have no idea about Utah!!!
