Yes, there are some weirdos in the world, but I think that as long as you are careful, you'll be fine. I gave my students my email address on the last day of school, and I honestly don't think there's anything wrong with that. I want to know how they are doing if they care to write me. You know your kids, and you know which ones are sincere and which ones are creepy.
