I, too, referred 2 children this year who fell through the imaginary crack! One is so EC, he is unable to complete assignments. The other is low IQ, but because he is a real worker he performed "too well" on the test. Go figure.

I totally agree that this system fails the children referred to it. IT won't be long before the hard working, low IQ student gives up and the EC student harms himself, or someone else.

What is there to be done? I refuse to keep getting the same answers.
