Good luck tomorrow! *Here are two questions I asked at the end of my interviews (one interview was at the school I student taught and long term subbed at):
-Is it possible to say, "Can I explain what my reading block would look like?" Then explain what your reading block would look like. That depends on how they teach reading. During my interview I pictured my reading block in my head and described it. For math I would probably say-My lesson would start as whole class with an introduction and interaction from the students. Then they would break into group/partner work to explore and problem solve. At the end I would bring the whole class back together so they can share their strategies and ways they solved problems. Something along those lines. -Since you are very familiar with the school, you may want to think about some of the "best" classes in the school that you've seen (you know the teachers who do what the school would like them to be doing) and describe what you've seen. *The other poster did a nice job of explaining the 5 components of reading. Good luck!
