amen!

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree that it's political when finding a job at a school. I don't blame them for wanting to hire people they know, but it sure stinks for those of us who don't know them.

I did consider the fact that I would cost more
to hire if I have a master's degree. However, if I get my master's, I want to work at the university level with education students or as a curriculum specialist at a school. I just feel like I would have more opportunities, even if they aren't teaching in the classroom.

I'm glad that I have other skills I can use in case I don't get a teaching job. I would probably make more money

too. I know that money isn't the most important thing in the world, but I wouldn't mind having more of it My mom doesn't have a college degree, and she makes almost twice as I do by working in an office as someone's assistant!
