I don't want to burst your bubble, but unless you are some sort of high needs specialist, you are going to have a really rough time teaching in New Zealand. I don't know what you mean about financial assistance. You can't move there and then look for a job, you'll have to be hired and have the school sponser your visa to move there.Good luck
