on how many grades a week you are required to take. Our district requires at least 2 grades a week.

I teach 3rd so here is what I do:
Given/Graded every week:
Daily Language Quiz
Spelling Test
Math Homework

That gives me a guaranteed grade in each subject
(Reading is a breeze as we use a basal and have a workbook).
