That's something I've used time and time again. It's wonderful for downloading pictures for use in the yearbook later in the year, for pictures for scrapbooks, pictures for craft projects, power point presentation for end-of-the-year awards' ceremony, etc... You wouldn't have to have a dollar amount - they could buy whatever one they could afford. Personally I LOVE the one I have - it's a Sony and has the floppy disks instead of having to hook up wires, but it costs more.
