cons of looping
By JB

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm sory; I know a lot of teachers like looping, but not me. I feel the behavior gets worse in the second yr. because students tend to tune you out. In fact, CRCT scores seemed to drop, not necessarily to failing, but dropped.

Teachers have too many of the same problem children. For me, getting ready for a new start with new children is part of the fun that goes along with teaching.

I don't think all teachers have the personality that it takes to loop. It takes a certain type of teacher to be successful at looping, More of the "Entertainer type."
