I have had parents come to me in the morning, but they've been respectful of my time so far. They probably pick up on the fact that I'm rushing. I don't wait until the last minute to do things, but mornings are not a calm
time for me because kids start coming into my room.
I have had parents come to me IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS to ask me dumb stuff, like makeup work, a worksheet, etc. Not that those are really dumb items, but the middle of my class is not the time to do it. I've also have parents interrupt to give students stuff they left at home...tennis rackets, gym clothes, etc. Geez! If my kid

forgot something at home, they'd be without! One parent interrupted the other day, and I just told him that I didn't have time to speak with him until my break...It was like 45 minutes into class!
