LA lesson

Clip to ScrapBook
hope this helps:

L.A. to teach character, setting, plot and details. it's called story stew and what you do is you wear an apron, you have a big pot with a spoon and inside the pot you have cards that say character, setting, etc. and you introduce it by saying a good story is like a good pot of stew and compare ingredients to story elements. As you pull out a card you teach the mini-lessons. THe kids love it.
