Not a leg to stand on

No offense, AKA, but if your "case" went to court, I don't think you would have a leg to stand on. YOu knew all the other teacher's incompetent and uncaring ways from many past experiences, and you failed to mitigate your damages. Are you sure you didn't help set up the situation to make her look bad? Perhaps she didn't care about ANY kids, but you only cared about one. Or at least that's how it might appear to a jury. Be glad nothing happened to get involved in a lawsuit over.
