5th & 6th grade

I think that there's a big difference between 5th and 6th grade...at least at this time of the year. I teach 6th, but I was able to do some work with the 5th graders last week. It seemed that they needed so much more modeling and monitoring. Not that 6th graders don't need those things, but the 5th graders seemed more reliant on the teacher than 6th.
