certificate
By Newbie

Clip to ScrapBook
You're right...I know it depends on the state. But to answer your question, I actually did obtain the certificate. It's an out-of-state certificate for Louisiana, which means that it expires in 3 years or until I take Louisiana's certification test to obtain the permanent certificate. According to the Louisiana Dept. of Education, I can teach with an out-of-state certificate; however, I don't know if that will be looked over by principals who would rather have someone with the permanent license.
