Literacy Collaborative
By Mr. L

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi- If your collaboration is the same as what I participate in, it is a framework for teaching reading, language arts, and word study(spelling). It originated at Ohio State and Lesley University with Irene Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell. It also referred to as the Fountas and Pinnell model. Do a search on-line for "Literacy Collaborative" and it will probably produce a good result list. Also, go to the University Of Maine website (www.maine.edu) and search for Maine Literacy Partnership and it will provide you with additional information, as it is also part of Lit. Collaborative.

Best of Luck
