Clip to ScrapBook
I use it as a center in my room. I have a set of questions written on laminated cards. The students go through and read the questions out loud. The choices, or what they have to use to answer is posted on cards in a pocket chart above their table. Then, I even started having them write their answers on small white boards to compare and share (Kagan strategy). They self - check their answers and discuss the question, if they get it wrong, until the figure out why the right answer is correct.

The kids love it because they can work together and use the white boards. I don't grade the center all the time. Once in a while I may have the students write their answers down on paper and check it for a grade, but not so often.
