I have 3 groups of leveled readers that I meet with each day, M-Th. We meet for 20 minutes working on vocab, comprehension, story elements.
While I'm with the "green" group, the blue group is at learning stations, and the red group is doing seatwork & SSR. We rotate, but before I meet w/the next group, the "station" group reports what they did at their station (accountability) that day (I have 5 stations set up & that's where they are heterogeniously grouped, because on Fridays, everybody goes to stations all at once). I then do running records.
