Clip to ScrapBook
I don't think this was my fault at all. My issue lies in the fact that the child that "ran" has Aspergers and she knows she needs to keep an eye on him. He has ran before. Plus, he is extremely overweight and I know he
is not fast. Did she just stand there and watch him run away??? I know she did. She didn't even attempt to go after him!!!!! The area in which this happened is pretty open, except where the neighborhood starts. Why in the heck would you send 2 more children off school property???? The other kids who were playing have no issues and could have been left, within her view, for a minute
or two.
My anger lies in the fact that:1) She seemed so disinterested in the fact that he was off school property
2) She didn't even attempt to get him
3) She made it the principal's problem, when she could have very easily fixed the problem by stopping him in the first place.
4) I can't believe some of you on here think this is my fault!!! The child that wet her pants is Downs. I had to go with her. I don't even question whether of not I should have gone with her. She was so embarrased and was crying. While playing kickball, she was running and just had an accident.
5) This isn't the first time my partner has "let me down" and then made it the principals problem. I am so tired of her making it look like she can't handle things. She was put on the non-renewal list for not being able to deal with special needs kids.....and this is just another reason why.
