I am finishing up my first year in a new school this year. I have gotten along well with my principal, and she even calls me by first name. I have tried all year to relate to her on a personal, as well as a professional level. For this reason, when I was wondering about my future in the school, I went directly to her after school one day and just spilled it out: "Where will I work next year?" She answered honestly and quickly. With that accomplished, I could breathe easily again. I got my contract in my box on Wednesday for next year to confirm what she said. Relieve your anxiety by asking him directly. I am sure he will be professional enough to give you an honest answer.
