burn out
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
It is easy to burn out this time of year. You are at your lowest energy level, and the kids are becoming more demanding in terms of behavior. They are like wild animals waiting to break free of their cages. It also doesn't
help that so many things are going on at school this time of year. We have so many events going on at our school that I can't keep track of them all: Relay for Life, Young Authors Day, trip to the amusement park, trip to the zoo, Spanish Day, end-of-year parties, end-of-grade testing, chorus assembly... No wonder the kids are going nuts! What is also daunting is the fact that there
is so much work to do before the year finally does end--the clean ups, cumulative records, and the final checklist before we can leave.

Hang on. You'll get through with it. We all will!
