I wish all of the teachers would remember this point. Most of the time I am confronted with out of date or even non-existent seating charts. If they don't have them at all, I loose all respect for that teacher. Don't pretend to be a Professional Educator if you haven't left seating charts. In fact, I wish they would leave something that has the students first, middle and last name. It just freaks them out if I call them by all of those names. Of course, most are not happy with their middle names and I only use this sparingly on the really habitual offenders.
