long commute
By b

Clip to ScrapBook
last year, i had a long commute. like a previous poster, the distance wasn't far but the traffic was terrible. it took me about 45 minutes to get there in the morning and over an hour to get home. but it was worth it.

on
the way to school i would listen to a pumped up station to get me ready for my day. and i lvoed listening to the talk shows. on the way home, i would also have calm music on or i would just have the radio off. the drive home was a good way to unwind. i got to "cool off" for an hour if it was a bad day and i ddin't take it out on my family when i got home.

the only issue i had was gas.

i spent a lot! but other than that i would do it again. this year i'm in another district where i have to take the train into the city everyday. that commute is about an hour long each way. it is also my time to unwind or prepare for my day. sometimes, i'll even grade papers because i have that extra tim to sit there. and i'm trapped so why not do some grading? that way it leaves me time to do other thigns at school....
