Questions to ponder... By Kari

I don't really have any helpful advice, but I'm wondering if this student is defiant or acts/acted this way to the "regular" teacher. If not, then could he possibly be upset that she's gone...he misses her...resents you for taking her place? Or maybe he's not comfortable with change...so he's insecure...feels out of place now.

Just throwing those questions out there to ponder. This would be my starting point.
