Clip to ScrapBook
I think it's perfectly fine to have students look up information, especially if they are able to do it on the standardized test. When my class reads a book, and a student asks me questions about a character, event, etc., I ask them to find it. It makes sense that we teach children how to find information instead of just memorizing it. After all, we are living in an age where anything can be answered with a little research.
