looking back
By Brooke S.

Clip to ScrapBook
I say yes have them look back. I started teaching last year and at first I told the kids they could not look back, and then like you thought, I decided that since they could look on standardized tests why couldn't they look on classroom assessments. I now encourage mine to look up all answers. They do not however look up answers on AR tests, so I think they get a mix of both techniques.
