I use sticky address labels as flags on them, I number my students 1-25, and put the number on the flag. It's also great bc I know whose pencil is on the floor. No more "who's pencil is it?" squabbles! They get extra points for their team for keeping their pencil the longest. It's amazing how they can hold on to pencils when there is an award attached.
