I've never heard of not being allowed to live and teach near your school. It sounds like Nazi Germany. I live very close by to my school and run into students and parents all the time. I also save a ton of money at the gas pump. It costs me $5.00 a week for gasoline.When I'm asked such questions, I just say those things are a matter of personal opinion. Ex: "Who is the best teacher at your school?" My answer: "Our school has an excellent reputation and every teacher has his/her own unique teaching style so I really can't say. Or you can say you've never observed the teachers at your school.
