In my education classes in college, we saw a video once about how parents treat their kids in different cultures and there was this one Asian mother who fed her kids with a spoon (who were old enough to feed themselves) I personally think kids should learn how to do things for themselves, but people do different things in other cultures. They think we're strange for letting kids feed themselves! Just something to think about...
