I have a question, not just for the original poster, but for anyone who cares to consider the following quotes taken from the above post:

"Some students come from religious homes where self control is taught. Others come from dysfunctional urban apartments, trailor parks, and poverty areas where fighting, stealing, and disrespect is a way of life."

QUESTION: My question is, would a non "ethnic" (white?) person from the less than ideal home environments mentioned above typically have behavior problems? Or is such behavior reserved for non-whites?

Also, what do you mean by ethnic tension?
