Do not avoid the secretary

I was always taught that the secretary is one of the most important people within a school to become friendly with. Secretaries remember you while most principals and teachers will not. Do not overload them with questions but be polite and say hello and introduce yourself. I really feel that it could pay off in the end. Anyways, it's never a bad thing to be nice to someone.
