You never know... By AW

If I were you I would definitely send them a thank you note. That small gesture is really important, and I think it's often forgotten. Here's a personal story I'll share...I had an interview last year for a kindergarten | position. I thought I had done really well. I left that interview feeling great. I got a call the next week saying they had hired someone else. Boy did I feel crappy. They called back the next day and said they had a 3rd grade position open, that I would be a better fit for 3rd grade (I agreed), and could I come in and interview again. Yes, I had to interview again with the same people | | and same questions two weeks after the first interview. Anyway, I left that interview feeling terrible. I thought it was much worse that my first interview which meant not getting the job. Well, they called the next day and offered me the position. I was shocked!I think that sometimes we are our own worst critic. Beyond the thank you card I don't know what else you can do. I understand what it feels like to wait and wonder though. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you.
