birthday surprise
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
You could do like an acrostic thing with each student taking a letter that spells out Happy fortieth birthday---- Or anything that will get the number of letters that fit the # of students. On one side of their paper (should probably use cardstock or glue to a piece of construction paper) have the letter covering the whole sheet. This side faces the "audience" (bday girl) On the other is their line for the acrostic. Each person reads their letter and then holds up the "sign". Then when all done it will spell out "Happy Bday---" for the person to see!
Does this make sense?
I did this for a coworker's 50th and she loved it. When all was done, I put the pages together for her in a book.
Good luck!
