Clip to ScrapBook
Carol, you're 100% right. You're right about what middle and high school kids can do with lesson plans, seating charts, etc. It hasn't happened to me lately, but I've had my notes for the teacher swiped a few times. I've learned my lesson, and if I have any doubts about a class, I'll hide the note, the lesson plan, or the seating chart in a desk drawer.

As far as kids frustrating subs--it happens to me now and then. You're right--they want to get you so angry that you'll do something stupid. I guess the only remedy is to beat them at their own game. Stay very calm, and without much fanfare, write a referral to the office. Sometimes all it takes is to get rid of a few of the worst clowns, and the atmosphere in the room really improves.
