secretaries

I agree that sometimes they get a bit cranky. When I first started working at my school I was scared of the secretary! I would try to avoid her. Then I got to know her and realized she is a nice person with A LOT of work| to do. I'm amazed at how much work secretaries have. She answers the phone, deals with behavior problem kids and sick kids when they come in and need to talk to the principal, deals with parents when they come in upset or are picking their child up, she schedules meetings for our principal, and she has a LOAD of paper work to do everyday. I'm sure there are a million other things she does. | |
It seems that every time she sits down to accomplish something someone comes in and she is disturbed.No, it isn't an excuse to be grouchy, but I might be a little grouchy if I were constantly interrupted too!
