interview panel
By teach first

Clip to ScrapBook
This past summer I went on several interviews that consisted of a panel of teachers and the principal. I was asked the same questions in the group panel interviews as I was in the single principal interviews. They explained
to me that each teacher picked 2 or 3 questions that they would like to ask. While a teacher was asking the question, the other teachers/principal listened or wrote down my answers. A few times, the other teachers shared their experiences and had you share you ideas on the subject (ex. - classroom management, reading groups, etc.). At first I was really nervous to have that many
people in the room with me, but the teachers seemed very supportive of my answers. The other teachers are in the classroom like you are and are experiencing what you are. Good luck on your interview and don't worry too much. You got your first teaching job and you have that experience to bring to your interview now. You will do fine!
