So on to what you
Our school provides a grammar practice book (maybe Scott Foresman? I can't remember). Our Reading Anthology/ Basal is Scott Foresman and I do pick and choose pieces I like. For spelling we teach using the Rebecca Sitton spelling program. I have not taught it yet (my teammate does) but she REALLY likes it because it recycles words and there is not "word list" for students to memorize. Students are given a weekly test but the words are from a list of words to be mastered by fourth grade. Then they are also quizzed on words that students may have NOT mastered from lower grades (which, their, there and they're). I have a website where I include many of the things I do in my guided reading. To see a minute by minute plan of my reading schedule you can click here
