hard one

Clip to ScrapBook
I had a great beginning, as usual, but this year's class was also quite low. More challenges, but I love them all. I nearly went out of my mind at times with one boy with ADHD who finally got his meds adjusted. I have another
who acts like a baby, and 3 girls, which means they are always bickering. My parents were almost invisible, but the one with lots of kids of her own could always be counted on to help. I asked them to donate breakfast all year because half do not eat, and the few generous ones always pulled through for the class. We have many students with parents who drink and I want to adopt
a few of them. I got pregnant this fall (yea!) but boy did I have mood swings. There were days I could barely teach and a few I had to stay home. But we made it through and the end is near!!! I turned in my resignation with mixed emotions because I love my school, but want to stay at home and homeschool. So a position is open here in Alaska with great benefits, small class sizes, and a wonderful staff. Good luck to you all next year, and only do it if you truly believe that it's the right job for you.
