Baseball
By First Year

Clip to ScrapBook
You draw a baseball diamond on the board, and divide the class into 2 teams. You can either make questions of 3 difficulty levels (singles, doubles, triples), or just mix the questions up and have each question be a single.

One kid starts, and is the "batter." The child asnwers a question (if you play with 3 levels, they can choose which level they want). If they answer correctly they get on base, if they're wrong it's an out. Then the next student on their team is the "batter." After 3 outs, the other team gets a chance. Just a suggestion - it's easiest if you have a magnetic whiteboard or chalkboard so you can move magnets around the bases as players. Obviously, the team with the most runs scored at the end of the game wins.
