Plant activities
By Lisa

Clip to ScrapBook
My first graders planted green beans with their sixth grade buddies a couple of weeks ago. We used plastic pots and the students decorated them with stickers. They also used bright colored index cards to write "green beans" and their name. These cards were also decorated with stickers and drawings. This was very quick and not extremely messy. Make sure to place pots near a window. In about 7 to 10 days you will have a plant. I recommend planting three seeds. Hope this helps. The children actually brought them home for mothers day last week.
