What's it Worth?
By CCrawford

Clip to ScrapBook
I post money up above my white board and have a letter of the alphabet connected to it; therefore, each letter has a coin with it. Then, I will write a phrase/word on the white board in the morning and the kids have to find out how much it is worth? For example, if I wrote the saying, "Good Morning", they would have to find how much the g's were worth, the O's, the d's etc. Then they add them up. I did this in 4th too.

Hope this explains it well enough!
