Sounds like you have the job if you signed the contract and you've got good references and work history. Just relax and try not to stress. Just remember if they are filling 200 jobs then it will take a lot of time to just check references (200 applicants x 3 references=600 checks). Then they will have to check past employers which could take another 600 checks. They'll also have to check out your transcripts and your credential(s. That's another 400 calls/letters. And, lastly, they will have to wait for board approval for your contract and the final state budget. I'll cross my fingers for you! Carol
