Where I live, I have also heard that you can lose your certificate for backing out of a contract. Even if you didn't run the risk of disciplinary action, it looks bad, and I wouldn't do it. Like the other posters pointed out, it sounds like you have a lot of options, so don't settle if you don't want to. You don't have to jump at the first job available unless you desperately need the money.
