Stay Involved
By Newbie

Clip to ScrapBook
My advice would be to stay involved, just like you are doing by reading publications, etc. If you have the opportunity to attend a workshop or something for professional development that would be a good idea too. Recent graduates will be more informed about newer things, but they lack the experience you have from subbing and being a little older/more mature. In your cover letters, explain that you have kept up with trends in education so that employers know you aren't just jumping straight into something you have lost touch with. Good luck to you!
