double-entry journal By Buffalo Gal

This just occurred to me, I haven't actually done this. You could have mother/child come up with a memory of an event or trip. Have each do a quick 10-15 minute writing of it, each one separately without comparing notes. It might be fun to see what two people remember about the same thing. (examples: the time he got grounded, the trip to the zoo, last family Christmas, what's most memorable about Grandpa's house, etc.)What brought this to my mind is a conversation with my teen-aged son recently about some events that happened when he was quite young. I just laughed and laughed over what his perception was, and he got some chuckles over it, too.
