foreign langs teachers
By been there but I got even

Clip to ScrapBook
Where I teach we have all kinds of bilingual schools although French is the predominate immersion. When I used to sub I went to many French schools but one was really rude.

First of all this school was known for treating
subs like dirt. They just assume a sub has no clue how to speak their precious language and made no effort to speak to me in English. They speak very fast but I got even. Much to my horror I was being talked about as "some newbie that has the gall to enter of French school and I must be stupid or something." I looked the person straight in the eyes and said something to the effect of:
"Please dont assume a substitute teacher is someone not as skilled as you. As well it is very rude to talk about someone right in front of them especially when you think you are one up on me. If that is what your school is like trust me I shall not return. Really it is too bad you are so rude as I am a bilingual French person and I WILL NOT COME HERE AGAIN.:

Hahahahah the looks of shame and utter shock that a mere sub spoke immaculate French as they did (not as fast) was PRICELESS.

They tried to back pedal and many called me to sub but I gave them the same answer IN ENGLISH!
