teacher appreciation

Our PTA actually put a nice lunch out for us today, just simple sandwiches, chips, sodas. It was nice, and I did appreciate it. What I didn't appreciate was going into the lounge and finding all the support staff getting food BEFORE any of the teachers had lunch! We JUST celebrated them last week, put on a big luncheon, etc. We didn't touch their food. I'm all for sharing, but at least let some teachers get in there first... It certainly didn't make me feel that the luncheon was about teachers, just the school in general.
