A Weird Idea, but I Think I'm Right
By Bob

Clip to ScrapBook
The research always says to use real money in teaching, but my concern is, if a student steals the money, how will this hurt the student? S/he might worry about the stealing and never confess. This will inhibit learning, according to current brain research; if nothing else, block information from the hippocampus. And why subject the student to unnecessary trauma?

This is why I use Wal-Mart coins (located in the educational section of the stationary department).
