Our school is Pre-K through 2nd. Each grade has a different color plastic pocket folders with clear fronts. We use then to send home work everyday. Most of the K teachers usse the red, yellow, and red lights for behavior and have a monthly calendar that they stick into the front of the folder. At the end of they day, they stamp that day's square on the calendar to show the color that each student's light was on at the end of the day. This gives a running record and the kids can earn treats for getting a certain number of green lights each month. Parents sign each day's block, so they know what is going on in class.
